Founded in 2003 by Ron Overholt, Overholt Excavating Service Inc. has earned a solid reputation for integrity, honesty and a commitment to quality workmanship.
The devastating lake and storm effects witnessed in this area inspired Ron to begin this line of work so that he could assist people in protecting their property and ultimately their investments. Although property prices have been escalating over the years, the devastating effects of erosion ultimately reduce property values through land loss and damage to the landÃs cosmetic appearance.
To protect you, the property owner, in addition to obtaining proper Ministry permits, Overholt Excavating carries a $5 million dollar liability insurance policy and has Worker's Compensation on all employees working on a project. The use of their own machinery ensures the company maintains direction and control over all aspects of the job.
Understanding environmental sensitivities, their lake shoreline repair work is scheduled in accordance with the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans and the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority guidelines as to not adversely affect fish spawning cycles.
